Throughout its 45-year history, the Dhammakaya Temple has never wavered from its mission to create world peace through inner peace by promoting the Buddha’s method of meditation and teachings that have changed the world since 2558 years ago.
The Buddhist Monk Ordination Program was first organized in 2005. The training was initiated by Luang Por Dhammajayo, The president of Dhammakaya Foundation ( A UN’s NGO and member of The World Fellowship of Buddhist ), with the objective of promoting ethics and morality among youths, in addition to their academic education. Education alone cannot adequately cultivate ethics and morality in a person.

The Dhammakaya International Meditation Center of New Jersey (D.I.M.C.N.J) arranged the Candle Lighting for World Peace Event at Dhammakaya Meditation Garden on August 23, 2016 in honor of the World Meditation Day.
